It clogged once when we first used it, but the help page sorted it out fast. Works fine now and the kids are back to making their little projects.

"Feels safe enough for my kid to use"
Well... I got this for my daughter i feel good about it. The safety features seem solid, the outside of the pen doesn’t get super hot, and the plastic feels kid-friendly enough. I still keep an eye on her when she’s using it, but I’m not sitting there nervous the whole time. My only complaint is that the instructions could be a little clearer. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

"I got this because we needed something fun..."
I got this because we needed something fun to mess around with on weekends, and at first it was a good time. Everyone liked using it, especially when we had family over after lunch one day. The downside is it broke way sooner than I expected, so I wish the durability was better. It’s fun, just not something I’d count on lasting very long.

Some of the steps was helpful, but a few parts had me guessing what to do next. I figured it out eventually, but it could’ve been clearer

"Build is just okay tbh"
It works fine for what I need, but the whole thing feels a bit flimsy in hand. Not terrible or anything, just doesnt feel super sturdy

"Works alright, but I'm not sure it's the most comfortable"
I do like the idea of the 3Doodler, and it works well for what it is. I just keep going back and forth on how much I actually enjoy using it because after about 20 or 30 minutes, my hand starts to feel kind of stiff. Maybe I'm just holding it weird, but the pen feels a little chunky to me.
The buttons are mostly fine, though I sometimes wish they were placed a bit differently. I think if it were lighter or had a softer grip, I'd probably like it more. It's not a bad pen at all, I just wouldn't call it super comfortable either.

"Temperature control works really well"
I picked up the 3Doodler mostly because I wanted more control when using different filaments, and the temperature buttons make that way easier than I expected (no more random guessing).

It heats up fast, and being able to adjust the temp has made a noticeable difference. My lines come out smoother now, and it hasn’t been clogging nearly as much as my old pen did (which was driving me a little nuts).
There was a bit of a learning curve at first, but once I got used to the settings, it became really fun to use. So far, I’m definitely happy with it.

"Not much useful stuff in the box"
The accessories were kind of a letdown. It came with a few bits, but most of them felt cheap, like the sort of stuff you’d toss in a drawer and never use. It also seemed like some basic things that should’ve been included just weren’t there, so I had to figure that out myself.

"Takes a little practice at first"
I got this for my kid, but of course I had to try it out too. It’s definitely fun, but I will say there’s a bit of a learning curve in the beginning. The plastic came out quicker than I expected, so my first couple of attempts were messy. But that’s kind of how these things go, once you get the feel for it, it starts making a lot more sense. After a little practice, it was much easier to use. Overall, it’s a good product, you just need to be patient with it at first.

"I had to send back my 3Doodler pen..."
I had to send back my 3Doodler pen after it stopped working. The return process turned out okay, but the rules were a bit confusing at first, and the warranty emails took a few days each time. Compared to the smoother customer service I’ve had with other brands, this felt a little slow. They did get it sorted in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. The pen is fun when it’s working, but the whole return experience could’ve been easier.

I feel like it was worth the money. It does what I needed, and for the price, I’m happy with it.

"Solid filament, pretty much no hassle"
I’ve ordered filament from 3Doodler maybe 3 or 4 times now, and it’s been solid each time. The colors come out looking nice, and it feeds through the pen smoothly without a bunch of clogging or random snapping. My kid uses it quite a bit too, probably a few times a week, and it holds up well. Overall, I’m happy with the quality and would definitely buy it again.

"I got this thinking it would be a..."
I got this thinking it would be a fun little thing for art projects, but it ended up feeling limited. The pen is kind of awkward to use, and pretty much every idea I had turned into a messy blob. I feel like these things always look way cooler in the ads than they are in real life. Maybe kids would have fun with it, but if you’re actually trying to make something creative, it gets frustrating fast. I used it for a few days and then just gave up on it.

"Showed up way sooner than I thought"
It got here a lot faster than I expected. Shipping was smooth and I didn’t have any issues at all, so it kind of makes you wonder why some other places make it seem so complicated.

"Fun pen, but why does the battery die so fast?"
I bought the 3Doodler from the3doodler.com, it’s been fun to mess around with. It heats up without any trouble, and my kid has had a great time making little shapes and random creations with it. Isn’t that kind of the whole point?
The only thing that bugs me is the battery life. It feels like right when you’re getting into a project, it needs to be charged again. Who wants to stop in the middle of making something? It’s not a bad pen at all, I just wish it lasted longer between charges.

"Perfect for keeping the kids engaged at home"
My kids picked up their shapes so quickly with this, and they actually stayed interested the whole time. What more can you ask for when you're trying to make learning fun at home?

"I reached out to customer service expecting a..."
I reached out to customer service expecting a quick answer, but it took them days to get back to me. And when they finally did, the response wasn’t even that helpful. Maybe I’m not being unreasonable here, but if support takes that long, shouldn’t the answer at least solve the problem?

"Fun when it works, but not as reliable as they make it sound"
I bought a 3Doodler pen from the3doodler.com because it looked like a fun, easy creative gadget, and to be fair, when it’s working properly it is entertaining. Setup wasn’t too hard, and my kid had a good time messing around with it for a while.

The problem is it doesn’t really live up to the smooth, hassle-free experience they seem to promise. The pen jams or randomly stops feeding, and after a few times it gets frustrating instead of fun. For the price, I expected something a lot more consistent

"Setting it up was simple, but getting..."
Setting it up was simple, but getting the filament loaded correctly took me a minute and was a little fiddly at first. Once that was sorted, it worked just fine and the kids were able to jump in quickly. I do think it’s only fair to make that first step a bit clearer, especially for something meant to be easy for families to use, but overall it was a good experience
